When to Plant and How to Grow Parsley in Phoenix
Parsley is a biennial herb. When parsley is cut back it regrows. In most places parsley is grown as an annual, but in Phoenix it can grow in the garden fall through spring.
Plant parsley when soil temperatures reach 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Plant mid-September or in the months of February and March. From seed it takes 70-90 days to harvest.
Allow space for parsley to spread up to two feet wide and two feet high.

Parsley grows well with nearly everything, but it can be particularly beneficial for some plants. Some beneficial plants for parsley include tomatoes, cabbage, carrots, chives, and basil.
How to Care For Parsley
Light Requirements: Parsley can handle full sun, however it prefers some shade.
Soil Requirements: Prefers fertile well-drained soil, however parsley can grow in soil less than ideal as long as it has good drainage. Parsley likes neutral and slightly acidic pH. The soil pH range of 6-7 is ideal.
Water Requirements: Parsley likes consistent moisture. Water frequently so the soil stays moist.
When to Harvest Parsley
Parsley takes 70-90 days from seed to harvest. If planted in September parsley should be available to harvest in November. Parsley seeds planted in February or March can be harvested in April and May.
Eventually parsley will grow a flower stalk, once it does it is time to replant parsley.
